Huixian gave birth to a beautiful and healthy baby girl last night!!! Lee Ann's birthday is 28 Nov 2007!!! :)
According to Huixian Lee Ann looks exactly like her!
Definitely a very pretty girl in future!
I'm a godmother for the very first time! My first god-daughter.... I'm sure gonna pamper her like crazy!!! I'm already thinking what to get for her very first Christmas present!!!
I'll post up pictures of my god-daughter when I visit her at the hospital. :)

Later today I'll be going down to Vivo City to attend the opening of Asian Film Festival. I really wonder how it'll be like! I've never attended anything like this before. This year has been a lot a firsts for me and I'm not complaining one bit! It's something I would like to keep as fond memories when I look back 30-40 years later.
Also, I've been receiving requests that I blog about my Miss Universe experience in Mexico back in May. I should really get down to doing that and slowly recap what I went through back then. Don't worry! I actually kept a diary when I was there... squeezing in thoughts and feelings whenever I can even though the schedule was really packed and all of us lacked sleep!
Come to think of it I really miss my friends there and I'm glad I'm making a trip to Bangkok in January to meet up with Miss Thailand! I'm very very excited!!!

I'm asked to come up with 5-10 items for this flea market/auction sale next Sunday. Proceeds from the items sold will all go to CHARITY! Sound like great fun to help out the less fortunate!
Can I have some suggestions as to what items I should come up with? i.e. things U would like to buy from me? *haha* (please no pervy stuff kay?)
Anyway, do come down on Sunday, 2 Dec 2007, between 11am - 6pm. Do your bit to help out and buy stuff from me and many many other people!!!

My good friend, Huixian, from university is gonna POP! soon! I'm so so excited! Met her and our clique on Thursday night for dinner before she pops! She's so ready to give birth and I can't help touching her pregnant tummy!
We've been friends since junior college and all the way through university and now she's gonna be a mother real soon! Saw her go through happy, sad, emotional times to getting married at the beginning of this year. Still remember vividly how we as her "jie meis" filmed her wedding video and declared ourselves " Gan Ma no.1, Gan Ma no.2 and Gan Ma no.3!" (Gan Ma = godmother)
Time really flies once we leave school... during our gathering we took photos at the exact same spot a year ago. But this time there's an additional girl in the photo - the baby!
She how we've changed/aged/become pregnant within a year!

Hello Baby Lee Ann! Kisses from your Godmothers!
Been busy the past few days modeling - did a SK II launch yesterday to do some interesting catwalk (it was acting and cat walking the same time!) I was surprised I was hired for that job as usually only the foreign ang moh models get those! 5 of us did it - 2 Brazilian, 1 Canadian, Tammie Kee (she was my batch of New Paper New Face so fren fren!) and me.
Today, I was asked to go down to the Cooper Vision Launch as I did the ads for them. And found my face plastered on a mineral water bottle!!! Something I've definitely not seen before....
Took one home as a souvenir! *hehe* wanted to take some more to give my parents as I'm sure they'll like to keep one as well. (my parents have been keeping all my clippings. They're certainly my biggest fan. :) )

My favorite is this pair of Ferragamo 5 1/2inch heels! Previously featured, but this is up close!
Winning qualities: comfort, style (I like the gap in the platform), height of heels and definitely the BRAND!
Aldo takes second place cos of it's simply unique stilleto!
Winning qualities: Design of stilletoes(totally sold by that!), height of stilletoes, comfort.
3rd Place: Prada lookalike ZARA curved heels.
Winning qualities: I was simply sold cos it looks so much like the current season's Prada curved heels!
Lastly, this Charles and Keith wooden platform heels.
Winning qualities: wooden platform.
U don't wanna know how many pairs I own or the number of pairs I can purchase at one go! *haha*

Today's my 1st day of filming for an Episode of Police & Thief. Got casted a supporting role (rather bit role) in the sitcom. Don't really wanna tell you much about the episode as I don't wanna give away any surprises! ;) But U must watch it!
Acting with Mark Lee, Constance Song & Suhaimi is simply wonderful! Mark Lee is a natural comedian making anything and everything funny! Just can't stop laughing even though some scene were meant to be serious!
Constance Song is very professional and a wonderful actress! I'm so happy to be able to meet her in real life, furthermore work with her! I can't believe my luck! She's soooooo gorgeous! Don't need much to make her look pretty! And her eyes are very captivating... Initially I thought she was a little unfriendly but later I just realised that when she doesn't smile she just has this "ice queen" look! Not her fault really.... Still 100% gorgeous in my books!
And Suhaimi is very very down to earth! No airs at all!
The experience is simply great! Can't wait for my next day of filiming to work with them again!
Will let U know when this episode will air soon! Cos I don't know yet!!

Went to One Degree 15 yacht club for buffet lunch and the spread was fantastic! Had my favorite popiah, sashimi, satay, stir fried beef and best of all Durian desserts!!! *yummmm*
After having such a fulfilling meal, I just had to walk my tummy off! *haha* and chanced upon this beauty Mary K!
Mary K is a work ship used at oil rigs to tow 200 ton anchors, mix n provide cement for rigs around the world. And we were lucky to bump into the Operations Manager Charles who gave us a personal tour inside Mary K! *how fortunate!* not everyday one gets to step onto such a massive ship!
Joining us in the tour was an American family which stopped over in Singapore for the past month before sailing back to Florida. Their 55 footer boat was docked right beside Mary K! Their family members include 15 yr old son Paul, 11 yr old son Garret, parents and 3 yr old chocolate labby Natalie! Can U believe that the family's been away from home for 2 years! The children are home school on board and they've visited plenty of places like Tahiti, Panama, Costa Rica, Fiji, Australia, Indonesia and many more!
Natalie's sucha darling... she was immediately drawn to my jeans cos of Joey's fur (my gf Joycelin's dog) that remained on my jeans!

It's this mango dessert found in ABC Brickworks Market. The shop owner will shave a bowlful of fine ice almost as soft as snow and he'll drizzle the ice with evaporated milk, then plops on a dollop of mango puree. After which, he cuts half a slice of fresh mango and puts it on top, adding more evaporated milk and now adding condensed milk. Mmmmmm.... The best thing is that this fresh mango dessert costs an affordable $2! For those mango fans out there, you can add more fresh mango for $1 only upon request. (That's me of course! My sinful $3 PLEASURE)

Was given Ferragamo's latest platform sandal in velvet red to wear and wow did it make me feel tall!!! It's 12 cm heels is a definite YES for every girl and it's sooo comfortable to wear them even for long hours. (trust me I was standing in them for more than 3 hours and my feet didn't complain one bit!)
They've been known for comfortable shoes to many of us out there and to me the price it worth the comfort! It's hard to find nice high heels that don't kill you while you wear them. Tried and tested... Ferragamo you've done it! Don't my calves looks extremely toned and slender cos of the heels?
And I can't help to feel special in that dress cos it's the exact same dress that Claudia Schieffer wore in their ad campaign!

I'm invited to go down to the fashion show tonight as a guest to watch it and I'm thrilled! What's made me more excited was the phonecall I that woke me up this morning. It was from the Brand Manager of Ferragamo and she called to ask if she could dress me up in Ferragamo!
Yes of course!!!
I've never worn anything from Ferragamo before and simply love their shoes! (I'm a shoes & bags whore) After that phonecall I couldn't really go back to sleep cos of the adrenalin rush. Heee.......
Just came back from their boutique and collected this black silk low-cut dress they picked out for me and chose shoes to go along with it... Felt like a princess! I lurve the shoes!!!!

Mr Nathan invited everyone in Mediacorp who participated in the recent President's Star Charity show to the Grand Ballroom in the Istana for a reception just to say "thank you". And of course I accepted his invite! I've never been inside the Istana ever so I am really curious to know how it looks like inside.
As we were driving into the Istana with the sun-setting in the backgroud, the view was simply picturesque, just like a painting! There's a 9-hole golf course inside the compounds for Members of the Parliament and a couple of wandering swans on the lawn! The Istana's huge! Around 16 hectres big if I'm not wrong..... can't imagine what's it like to upkeep such a big home!
One thing I really wanted to do when I was in the Istana was to shake the President's hand and take a photo with him! (I know I sound like a tourist or something but it's rare to have a photo taken with a President! And not just A President, it's Singapore's) Was really really happy when I got my photo with him! *HAHAH*
After that was accomplished, I just mingled around and enjoyed the buffet spread and went camera crazy with the rest who were there! :P

Went to watch Stardust in a GV Max cinema and really enjoyed the show. It's a simple pretty straight forward show without too much sub plots or twists in the story which makes it a good show to watch just for pure entertainment without getting a splitting headache! And the all star cast does help too! *hehe* It's been such a long time since I've seen Claire Danes in the movies and this is a good comeback for her cos she still looks as young as she was in Romeo & Juliet and she's still so pretty!

Lotsa friends were raving about this place to have yummy food at reasonable prices, so I decided to give it a try! And they were right! It's a tiny shop situated at Fortune Centre facing the main road that serves haute cuisine at almost no frills price. If you don't mind Al Fresco dining you should definitely give this place a shot! Plus it's a great place to bring a girl on a date without burning a hole in your pocket! (fine dining at reasonable cost)
