After the show, Daniel Ong and Jaime Teo got married in the same ballroom!!! In their own words "Don't waste the beautiful stage!" Congratulations D & J!!! So happy for this extremely loving couple... Stayed on to attend their wonderful union and their wedding was really unconventional. In the invites it was already written "Come in your party best!". They surprised us by hosting their own wedding and "sabo-ed" some unsuspecting people didn't know they were going to be impromptu hosts (were pre-chosen by the couple)! E.g. the Flying Dutchman, The Muttons and Irene Ang. Had great entertainment by Kumar, Diya, Jon Leong and many more! Food was fantastic! Music fabulous and most importantly the newly weds were extremely blissful and my favorite moment was when Daniel read out his poem to Jaime! I was tearing up when I heard it as it was sooooo sweet! It's no surprise what's Jaime's reaction was....Photos of this wonderful wedding will be posted up soon!
Stay tuned...

Had an early day today - woke up at 545am to step out of the house at 615am. Was waiting outside my place for a cab when it started to drizzle, luckily I had my brolly with me and whipped it out in time! In 5 mins or so it started to really I mean REALLY pour! Stood there and thought to myself, no cab will ever drive by in rain like this so I called for a cab.
Even calling a cab took me 6mins! By then, it was about 630am and I had to be at Mediacorp by 7am. :( What's worse was that the cab I called for took another 10 mins to come!!! Grrr..... Heavy rain, waited half an hour before I stepped into a cab and wee hours of the morning just don't agree with my daily routine. Luckily, I reached Mediacorp at 7am on the DOT! *phew* I really hate being late! This good habit was cultivated into me when I was in SIA when punctuality is a must!
The rest of the day went rather smoothly unlike my morning. The director said I've improved a lot since my 1st day!!! *big smile* She said that I speak a lot more naturally now and seem a lot more comfortable! And asked me to keep on working hard which I think I'm putting in all my effort to! :) At least I'm seeing results!!! What I lack in experience I try to cover it up with lots of hard work and determination and of course opening my ears to criticism and advise!
I had a nice time filming my "major" scene with Fann-jie as she was very encouraging and gave me certain pointers and advise when I was kinda "lost" I so appreciate her guidance and really hope to learn a lot from her! I really look up to her as an actress and have always loved her acting!
I guess I'm lucky that I get along well with my colleagues as Jeanette gives me great pointers too! And she's great at crying scene! Today, I had a scene with her and I didn't even know she was tearing badly beside me as she was not facing my direction. Once she turned to me, I was totally shocked to see her all teary-eyed! And that scene, we totally had no words spoken so it was pure emotion! *admiration* I want to be able to do that just like her one day! Well, for now I guess I'll just concentrate on improving my acting skills!
Signing off for now!

Also, this gives me more motivation to maintain a healthy lifestyle!
I feel a lot more energetic with constant exercise and skin glows now!
Want to see me really sweat it out??? Look out for this new Ch5 variety show called Showdown (airing in May) where I really work it out and get all sweaty and muddy!!! (no pun intended!)

I'm looking forward to this particular dance scene I'm going to do which will probably be the most challenging part for me! Won't disclose what exactly it is.... :P
Here's a teaser of how I'll look in the drama! :)

At least correcting that part wasn't extremely difficult but it did give me stress as I had to consciously remember not to sound like that anymore! Adding in physical acting and facial expressions, it was kinda overwhelming for a newbie like me!
The comforting part was the director was very nice, patient and actually felt my acting was not bad! :) Maybe that was said to not crush my confidence! *hehe*
Oh well, day 2's over.... looking forward to tomorrow which has longer and a bit more challenging scenes!
Wish me luck!!

It is such an honour to be able to take him out to lunch and introduce him to the local food here. So I thought the best place to bring him to try good Singapore food in a nice ambiance was at the Straits Kitchen in the Grand Hyatt. I did my part to explain the many different types of food we had here and how we love our food. Convinced him to try Chicken Rice and Popiah which he loved *phew* then he stopped after (very small eater). Glad he enjoyed lunch and managed to give him a little of Singapore to remember!
After our brief lunch, I had to rush off for a clothes fitting and now I'm getting ready to attend the musical We Will Rock You gala tonight.
Filming of my very first Chinese Drama starts tomorrow so I'm very excited and a little scared! Hope the director/colleagues and most importantly the public will enjoy my performance! Please be kind to me as it will be my very first try! I look to learn from all criticisms given! :)
Signing off for now...
